石榴石简介：　

石榴石，是采用岛状结构的铝(钙)硅酸盐矿物质加工而成的矿.石榴石磨料又名“水刀砂”或“金刚砂”，具有较强的硬度和很好的耐酸耐碱性，是一种岛状结构的铝（钙）硅酸盐，它色多优美，目前，经高纯磁选出的有灰、红、绿、白等多种染色体，是国外当前新开发的立体喷墙涂料，还是玻壳厂能做彩壳喷砂耐磨料。 

石榴石具有熔点高、比重大、耐酸、耐磨、强度高、化学性能稳定等特点,也是一种新型耐磨净水材料。

石榴石用途：

石榴石既可用做水的过滤介质,又可用做高速公路、飞机跑道的防滑路面、外墙涂料、橡胶填料（如作汽车轮胎输送带充填料，可使之耐磨性能增加）等，并广泛用于光学、电子、机械、仪器等行业。
